Setting Text Size Unit & Other Object Size Unit Differently
-
In Adobe Illustrator, text size unit and other object unit can be set differently. In graphic design, the standard unit of a text is point, whereas the standard unit of an artwork is centimeters, millimeter or inch.
In VectorStyler, we can only set one unit for all objects in File > Document Setup > General tab > Units field.
Could we please have a Text or Font Units field and a Other Units field in the Document Setup window?

@gotanidea In the Preferences -> Number Editors -> Font Size Units drop down, select Points.
May need to restart the app.

There is a bug in unit settings. To reproduce the bug, please open the file:
-
Do not select any object in the artboard
-
Just open Document Setup directly (I set the Units to Pixels and the Font Size Units to Points)
-
Close the Document Setup
-
Select the text object and see its unit in pixels, despite having set the Font Size Units to Points
Or:
-
Select the text object and see its unit in points
-
Open Document Setup (I set the Units to Pixels and the Font Size Units to Points)
-
Close the Document Setup
-
Change the value of the text object size and its unit will change to pixels

@gotanidea Added this to the backlog, will try to replicate and fix ASAP.
