Delete a pattern or preset

I've looked at the documentation. There are lots of options. Patterns (or presets) can be edited.
I'm looking for "Delete". So far, not seeing it or any reference to it.
How do I delete a pattern or preset. So far, I've got a healthy collection of them and some of them I really don't need.

@fewerjunk You can do it from the Presets panel (Ctrl-Option-T) and from the Preset Manager (Cmd-M).
