Would adding a pressure curve option to the stroke panel or stroke width panel be useful?

Affinity Designer has a pressure profile for adjusting path thickness. They lack the stroke width tool.
Here is a video from Youtube demonstrating how that pressure profile panel works in Affinity
Affinity also has the option to adjust a brush thickness of a selected existing line and for new ones by clicking on the "properties" option in the brush panel. This is similar to what VS offers.

I was curious if adding a pressure profile option would be a good improvement for VS in terms of editing line width of a stroke. I enjoy the specific control I get with the stroke width brush but wonder if having the pressure curve option as well would help users dial in what they want in a different manner.
