Faster option for scaling brushes and eraser/path brush tool

Would it be possible to add an accelerating width increase or decrease for the brush, eraser, path brush, etc? There are frequently times I’ll need to jump around from large to small brush size as I zoom in and out of a design.
The longer you hold down the bracket key, the faster the brush size edit occurs.
Right now it’s a slow steady pace no matter what -
