How do I move an entire live text on a path (not move the text along the path)?

I like the way the transform tool now doubles as the live text movement tool, but what I cannot figure out is how to literally move and entire path of live text to a new location. If I try to pick it up and drag it , it only moves the actual text along the path, the path itself does not move

Try moving the shape - and the text will move with it. Select the shape first (not the text).
