Objects selecting options - like in AutoCAD

As a former AutoCAD user, I find this method of selecting a document's objects very handy:
- Selecting the window from the left-hand side to the right-hand side will select only enclosed objects.
- Selecting the window from the right-hand side to the left-hand side means selecting everything included in that window or crossed by it.
