Could preview option be made sticky so we don't have to keep changing it each time?

I mostly use the low-opacity preview option in the offset path panel and think it's a genius feature. Only occasionally do not use it but I have to click twice to get to it each time I open the panel. Could this be an option that is 'sticky" so it stays at the setting I want for most of my use? I don't mind if it starts out as off by default, so long as whatever the user switches it to in his workflow, it would remain on that option going forward
