Tried the "Add new nodes to a path using various node position"
Feature in the newest VS 1.2 Beta and i register that the Preview
      doesnt work

      Also got a Crash
I know that this "Add new nodes ..." Feature works only when i select a path
via the Transform Tool. Which make me wonder.

But i tried it anyway with the Node Tool by selecting only a Part of a Path,
i selected 2 Nodes and want the new Nodes between them and VS crashes.
      Crash report is send.

      General question about this feature:

The way this feature is applied baffles me.

I need to select a path using the transform tool
to then add new nodes. But how do I proceed if I only
want to assign the new nodes to a specific Path segment?

I would have expected this feature to be applied with the Node Tool.

      Win 11
      CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, 6-core.
      GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070.

        This might be a bug.

@Subpath @VectorStyler I think it works fine, need to activate the display nodes of the selected object (Edit\Setting\Selection\Show Nodes of Selected Shapes). but the functionality needs to be strengthened, like selecting only a part of a path.

Yes, I also think that it works well if you select the path with the Transform Tool.
But I also found this approach a bit irritating and would have expected it to also
work between nodes selected with the Node Tool.

Thanks for the tip about setting the “Show Nodes” flag
            I hadn't thought of that.

              @Subpath your welcome.
I previously bought a macro for CorelDRAW and it has some nice node-related features.

It's a pity, it has stopped updating.

                Looks interesting

As far as I know, CorelDraw has a scripting part.
The last time I used this it was Visual Basic,
so if some are a little adventurous 🙂

Btw Scripting is also on the Roadmap of VectorStyler.
