A nice little Update about MagicaCSG, a nice little SDF Modeler
i mentioned in posts above. Even though I don't use it as often these
days, I'm still a Patreon supporter of MagicaCSG.It supports now TrueType fonts (.TTF) with the latest Update.
This means also you could use Symbol Fonts for creating
patterns with the also build in array functions. Here a Example i made

.
.
Of course you could also use normal fonts

Some more news about MagicaCSG SDF Modeler,
which also touches on the topic of vector graphics. The developer is working on basic support
for importing .SVG and .MCSG files for kitbashing.
.
.
I therefore asked him if SVG export (for vector graphics) will be possible.
Adobe's Project Neo already offers this feature. His answer: "That's not currently planned, but at least Bézier polygons/polylines
will be exportable as SVG in the future."Here's an image from the Dev how SVG import is going so far.

Finally !
SVG vector graphics import is now possible in MagicaCSG (Win)
with the latest Beta. This Version of MagicaCSG is only avaible
via Patreon which is 6,55 Euro/Month to support the Dev.If external SVG is modified, the imported SVG will also be modified
when you reopen the program and load the project.
Seems like a pretty nice Feature to me.Like Bezier Polygon, SVG primitive has properties Bevel/Round/Hole/Shell/Cone.
Here a simple Test, SVGs were made with VectorStyler.
Text is also possible in MagicCSG you could use any Font for this.
