Paste Text Bug

If I paste a long line of text (1 paragraph) into a simple Shape Text object, after the three words [Text Style placeholder ] I get a crash. Text is formatted with superior characters.
Text to practice with 1st paragraph of:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TypographyTypography is the art and technique of .................... to the communication of information.
Shouldn't be. Or a warning that something has been exceeded or fix the bug.

I could not replicate the crash.
EDIT: got the crash reports. I will try to replicate it.

Still not crashing here.
Try resetting the app to the default settings.No crash.
But have to dive into TimeMachine to get my settings back.
It happened quickly without warning like: "Are you sure you want to overwrite your settings?" or so... -

Are changes to custom settings automatically saved after I create one? All my previous states are default setting! -

Sorry, no they are not saved.
The Help menu contains a Reveal Workspace... command to go to the /resources/ folder where these files are.
The only way in future to recover settings is to create settings / workspace presets, or back up those files in that folder. -
@Ayo If it crashes with this again, back up the resources folder. It might be some settings causing this.
