When double click on a tool in the toolbox, for many of the tool there will be appear the panel related to the tool. You have to know this option, but I really like it. But there are some tools that can be related to panels but don't have this option, so I would like to see this option somewhere in the future .

Examples of tools that don't have this option:

The transform tools (move, rotate etc.)
Offset path and the outline path tool

@FastVector I added this to the backlog.

It is a bit difficult to decide what panel to show when double clicking on a tool.

For example: the offset and outline path tools are actually non-destructive effect tools so they should open the Shape Effects panel. But the panel will be empty when the object has no effect yet.

Just a thought that came to me while reading this post.
Why not just call up only the panel fields on double click.
          (Shape Panel e.g.)

What I like about these Panels is that they are non-modal
and allow further processing of the object.
