Extending options in the Transform tool
-
Watching this video on youtube (I have it queued to the spot with the transform panel), it made me think about adding similar functionality to the transform panel (I checked around the secondary settings in VS but if I missed it, let me know).
This is the current transform panel:
Illustrator's has the option built in for determining the number of copies to be made with their transform panel - would this not be helpful in VS?

@Boldline Menu - Object - Transformation,This function is in the list.
-
@VectorStyler The Freehand software can set duplicates in the transformation panel. It is suggested to add this function.

@Boldline @monsterfox I added this to the features backlog.

The FreeHand Transform panel (below left) is an "action" panel which destructively transforms the selected objects, also creating new objects if "Copies" is 1 or more. The object copies have no linkage or any memory of their past transformations.
In VS, the "Transform" panel is a "properties" panel showing the total of all transforms that have been non-destructively applied to the objects.
Having a "Copies" field in the VS Transform properties panel would only make sense if it's a non-destructive effect applied to the object.
FreeHand has a Transform Effect panel, below right, only the original object exists on the artboard - the copies are generated on the fly.
VS also has numerous transform effects in the Shape Effects, but I don't see a simple way to generate live transformed copies like FH. Could a Copies field be added to the Shape Effects > Outline > Transform?

@Raven I will try to add these

Tried the Logo from above in VS

Another example of how added repeat and rotate options to the transform panel could be useful

@Boldline Most of these additions will be for 1.3.
