Character tool - Pivot point

Is there a way to change the pivot point while the character tool is selected (eg. to change the rotation behaviour, currently it only rotates from the bottom left of a character)?

No. There is no pivot point for character rotation.

There are no plans for this (yet), I can add it to the backlog.
Maybe there is a solution for this.
