    If I delete a palette color, does it only delete from that specific panel?

      If I delete a color from a palette, I get the popup below:

      Does this mean it's being deleted only from the "test" palette in my example? What does it mean by "external color palette file"? One guess I had was that it would also remove it from the original source palette I opened and had moved a copy of that color from

        The palette is not stored in the document, but in some other file.
        And the color will be deleted from that file also (cannot be undone).

          @VectorStyler ok so to clarify this - VS is essentially warning me that deleting the color from the palette is a permanent change to that specific color palette.
