I'm a bit confused. I discovered a Blend feature that apparently no
      longer works.

As far as I remember, I set Blend Steps to smooth, and then I could
insert another path between two paths. The cursor changed at a
certain point; I think it showed a "+" sign. Then I could double-click,
and an additional path was inserted between two others.

Is this feature in Blend, or did it exist at some point, or was it all
      just a random coincidence?

      CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, 6-core.
      GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 5070.

@Subpath I will open a bug on this and test if this is indeed a regression.

@Subpath It works with double click on an intermediary shape, or a location along the blend spine path.

I think I've found the reason for the mystery.
It only works if you use the Blend icon in the toolbox for creating a Blend.

If you create a Blend with the Blend Panel, it doesn't work.

              See Video here

Of course, you always have to click with the tool, regardless how it was created.

Since I found this by chance, I wasn't aware that it is related to the Blend Tool.
Therefore, I thought it was a general feature of a Blend or smooth.
But now i know how it works, thanks.
