zoom\pan whilst holding a node\object
-
scroll with middle mouse button (MMB) = zoom
press and hold middle mouse button (now drag) = pan
that is my default behavior for MMBDraw rectangle. Draw line, pick on end node of that line and whils holding it (with mouse button) try to zoom\pan to a corner of rectangle.
Affinity can do it.
Illustrator can too.
Inkscape acts weird (selecting other points on the line ~ maybe scrolling acting as expand selection)
VectorStyler 1.3.004 is incapable of such useful workflow. Help me if it can or else list it as a new feature request!

@Evaelo said in zoom\pan whilst holding a node\object:
scroll with middle mouse button (MMB) = zoom
Settings -> Document Editor -> Mouse Wheel Zooms (second column first checkbox).
press and hold middle mouse button (now drag) = pan
This should be working in VectorStyler by default (just tested it on Windows).

Hi, this not a request only about zooming.
This is a request to be able to zoom\pan with the mouse wheel whilst holding a node\object with the 'Right Mouse button' at the same time, we scroll (zoom) press (pan) the Middle mouse button.
Illustrator and Affinity can do it. Inkscape is uncertain.
