"Quick Look" not working on silicon mac

Updated to version 1.3.010 and saw a screen alert that there were new Quick Look extensions installed. I went and turned on the extensions in system settings. Quick look previews are is not working. I've never had Quick Look previews options working before, so I was quite excited when the possibility was presented. I checked the forum for possible solutions, but the most recent comments were from 2023. I am on a silicon mac with macOS Sequoia. I would welcome any info or updates as the 2023 comments did not help. Thank You.
One further question, does the file format matter....compact versus binary?

@oleGraf Wehn saving the file you have to enable a preview mode in the Document Options -> General section Preview field. Only these files will have preview.
