Things just got complicated with the introduction of version 1.3…
Yes, we got the explanation of how these tools work but I have to be honest, these new pen tools appear to be too advanced even for the experienced user. I am quite sure that VectorStyler is not yet done with the introduction of more new tools and yet here we are, still struggling with the existing tool set and functions. We want to be productive and, alas, still experimenting and busy running around in circles trying to figure out how these tools work. On the surface some of the tools even appear to have similar functionality and I suspect the differences will be made clear after a broad scope of explanations. We still have a long way to go to fully appreciate their power.

In view of all this, I am therefore requesting for the release of official comprehensive videos on the following:

      • Curvature Tool
      • Bezigon Tool
      • Arc Tool
      • Interpolated Shape Tool
      • B-Spline
      • Spline Tool
      • Curvature Shape Tool

Needless to say, but I am quite positive that we are a majority currently caught up in this predicament.

BTW, I posted on the same topic (here) and did get some explanations which helps somewhat. But your request for a video is highly endorsed by me. That would be great. If I can get my head around these options well enough, I would do one. But I'm not there and need some help. Hopefully some power-user here can take this on if the developer is too tied up to do this.

Yes @thatmikeguy thank you for the post.
But, you agree with me that the response was largely centred on definitions without any demos. I appreciate that @VectorStyler could be overwhelmed, but remember those VS videos he gave us on Vimeo back in the day?

@ThatMikeGuy I've been studying the tools @william-kansepa listed in this thread with the idea of making some tutorials. I just purchased a microphone setup.
I was thinking it would be helpful for us to collectively share tips and tricks and usage features for each specific tool we've discovered as we go through them so the videos can be as informative as possible. (probably in the Tutorials section of the forum) Also going to run the videos by @vectorstyler for review and to see if anything else could or should be added.
