live Warp settings do not carry over to another VS document

I noticed that if I apply warp settings to a live text, if I copy that text after applying the warp effect and paste it in a new VS document, it does not retain the warp - it shows up as regular text. Is there a modifier key I would need to hit to tell it to copy the warp I added?

@Boldline I could not replicate this one. What tool was active when copying the text?

I tried to replicate it again as well. I think I had copied it when it was still selected using the warp tool. When I tried again using the transform tool, it carried over the warp successfully to the new document
