Drop Shadow Goes Wonky When direction pulled away from standard angle

I LOVE the new drop shadow tool. That said, it seems to run into some issues when I attempt to adjust the direction of the drop shadow using the tool. Here is a video showing this happening.
I can send the file if that helps.Also, at the 1:06 point in the video, I move the toggle on the opacity slider to the top end point of the slider, it disappears and cannot be recovered.
