      Here are the path brush settings I am currently using and a common result to the right of it. I could use a bigger brush size and not double back so much but regardless, it's an issue.

        @Boldline Could not replicate, but this does seem to depend on the mouse trajectory. Try with increased smoothness.

          @vectoradmin I'm using a stylus - would that be a factor?

            It could be, styluses generate much more points (sometimes overlapping points), so an increased smoothness and setting "Approximate" or "Curvature" in the Stabilize might also help (Rope is even better).
