Cusp to smooth extremes

Speaking of cusp to smooth nodes. If I try to convert this cusp node to a smooth node I get some extreme results, and I would expect something more similar to the cusp node, just smooth.

This is of course because of the long tangents in use here, but that is the math behind the object, as a designer it is what is shown that is important.

@Ingolf I will try to find a better way to convert the node. Currently the length of the control handles is fixed and they are rotated to be smooth.
Should the length be reduced? But I think that would not work in some cases.
