Offset path: undesired elements

I've just applied an offset path & I get these artefacts:

@Pat Email me that shape. I will try to find a solution for this.
Offset path is difficult, and in some cases there can be this type of corner results. -
@VectorStyler I select all shapes & apply an offset path: some shapes are unmodified & another one is different

@Pat Many of those shapes are open. Close them and try offsetting the closed shapes.

@VectorStyler I'll try but I don't understand since I didn't open any shape.

@Pat Use the Node tool to select the narrow end of those shapes. Some are open.
