gif file not importing correctly

Installed the new beta today - I tried importing a gif file a client sent me (the image is a bad one to begin with) but it went funky when I imported it into VS.
I took a screenshot and saved the file with the messed up imported file @vectoradmin I can email it to you if that helps. The top pic in this post is the image as it appears imported into VS, the bottom pic is how it should look and how it looks in Illustrator. (terrible design for a pic lol)
