Can't transform multiple shapes that are the result of the shapebuilder tool (1.1.075, Win10)

I was messing around with the shapebuilder, and wanted to scale multiple shapes at once, but that didn't work. I can scale the individual shapes just fine, but when I select three shapes, then click on the scaling handle, it just deselects the shapes. See this video:

@Gremriel Another observation: if I select all the shapes at once (drag over the shapes), then it works fine, but if I select them one by one, then the scaling doesn't work.

I don't have that file anymore (I thought I saved, but then my PC crashed for reasons unrelated to VS). I tried again, with a similar shape, and now it works as expected. If it happens again, I'll make sure to save the file.
