Stylus creates extra rectangle selection box

If I tap with the stylus, with the rectangle tool active, it brings up the rectangle panel menu as expected, but it also creates a very small rectangle that can only be edited with the rectangle tool, not with the transform tool.

At first I thought this was an overall bug, but it's only related to how the stylus and VS interact. When I do the same with the mouse instead, no tiny rectangle box is created.
