When I have multiple unsaved documents open, (especially after a longer period of use with VS overall), if I go to exit out an open file, it will ask me if I want to close out the file to the left of it first and then the sometimes the one to the immediate right of the first, etc. You can see in this example I recorded (ignore the first 4 seconds) that as I try to close out one file, it wants me to decide to close out the other files instead. If I say cancel, it moves to the next file to give me the option to close it next - even as I've not requested other files be closed out. if the next file is already saved, it will auto close out completely.

I've brought this issue up before and it's always been an issue for me for a long time. @VectorStyler said he could not reproduce it. I'm hoping that showing the pattern it creates of what to save and when might help pinpoint where the issue originates from, even if it can't be reproduced by others. I've occasionally lost work because I did not read the long file name closely enough and accidentally closed out the file next to the intended one because of this bug.
      Hoping it can be solved!

@Boldline I will try to replicate this.
When there are multiple unsaved files opened, should there be a single (common) Save/Discard alert, or should each (modified) document ask about saving?

@VectorStyler That's a good question because there are time either would be a better option.
Would it make sense to have that be an option in the panel when you attempt to close the first unsaved file? Maybe a button that says "save and close all"? and that would begin the automation of saving and closing all open unsaved files? Files without an existing filename come up as a new panel to name?

@VectorStyler By the way, I tried this morning to replicate the save issue with a new set of three unsaved files and it functioned correctly. So the issue seems to remain elusive. It happens after using VS for a several hour period.
Other little things also happen after a long use period like the lock icon on the layers in the layer panel will not swap to the opposite position. I click on the lock and it shows unlock for a moment and then switches back to locked. Sometimes the black triangle on the left side of the layer in the layer panel cannot be opened to show the sublayers. I have to save and close out the file and reopen it or reopen VS entirely to regain that function

I have also the same issues with saving files after longer VS use.

Moreover, after longer use, VS "loses contact" with windows taskbar:

Is the icon gone form the taskbar? how about the alt+tab task switching?

@VectorStyler I mean, after longer use, VS information displayed at the bottom of the document page is only half visible:
