Knife tool doesn't work

I am not sure , but I think I have already reported problems with Knife Tool together with Eraser Tool. While the Eraser Tool works ok, there are still problems with the Knife Tool. regardless of where it cuts.

@encart Looks like the separate path part is still problematic. Turn off the "Separate Path with Knife Tool" in preferences.
I will try to fix this ASAP.
