Could be a workspace issue, try removing the settings and workspace files to reset the app. -

@VectorStyler I did notice this kind of issues with other features as well, docking renders some features non-functional. I'm looking forward to using the new UI (with iconized panels)

@Pat Tried to replicate this on Windows with docked panels, but it is still working here.
It could be something with the settings or workspace files. Could you send me those? -
