Png display issues

When I place certain 'type' of png files in VS, I encounter display issues with the images. Note that this is not happening in other software. Please refer to attached screenshots. 0_1701542876058_png display issue.jpg

The issue is only rectified when I open the 'faulty' png file in Photoshop and resave it. The file will then display correctly in VS.
