I have to zoom out a lot to see newly created document's artboard.
Shouldn't it be centered? - video

@Harry Is there a custom document template used here for the default document?
VS saves the panning location when opening documents (or templates), but it does not when creating new documents.

@VectorStyler No, I don't have any custom document template.

@Harry Not sure what could cause this. The defailt document settings are in the settings and workspace files.
In the Help menu there is a Reveal Workspace folder command.
This leads to the settings and workspace files. If you can send me those I will try to replicate this issue.

@Harry This problem is caused by the resolution set in Display Options -> Resolution field. The value of 4096 is too high.

@VectorStyler Thank you - that worked. I don't have the slightest idea how this could happen 🙂

@Harry No problem, it was still a bug, as it should have centered the view regardless of the resolution. The bug will be fixed in the next build.
