    Certain files do not allow the pen tool to create a fill-only but other files do

      Sometimes I cannot get the pencil tool to stop automatically creating a fill and stroke and not just a fill. Yet it I open a new file and try the same thing, it will properly start and stop creating shapes with and without an active stroke
      Here is a video showing what I mean
      I don't know what causes it to not work properly in one file and work perfectly in another file

        @Boldline There is a checkbox in the context panel "Close Path" (should be a bit larger), this should be unchecked.

          @VectorStyler the issue I'm having with the file is that it will not let me make a fill shape without also including the stroke. Changing the "close path" is not fixing the issue.

          If I go to a new document, the pencil tool will allow me to make a fill without a stroke as it should
