This happens periodically when working on files with Autobackup enabled. Sometimes this does not happen at all. It is session-dependent. Sometimes it causes the program to minimize to the taskbar. Not sure why that is:

Note: I removed the file save window itself to save time:

The drive I normally save to is a standard 7200rpm HDD. I don't usually save to the OS disk, but it is where I store my Onedrive files and I've had no problems with working on things from it. Checking SMART via Crystaldisk (not always reliable in showing when something is imminent, I know) it shows the drive as error free.

However, the backups save to my SSD and it produces the same effect. I noticed checking the folder, not every single file I work has shown up there even though the setting is enabled, so that could be a factor as to why it is intermittent. (Only certain files or "sessions").

@debraspicher I could not replicate this. It probably has nothing to do with the drive. When selecting "Save As" it should open the file view of Windows.

I will test the automatic backup issue.

@VectorStyler I didn't think so either in this case, but good to check because a slight "pause" could be caused by a drive taking too long if it is bound to fail or experiencing errors. The other possibility I thought of was maybe the drive was waking back up, but that drive is almost always active from media being accessed or Onedrive updates.

I'll try to get the intervals just to be sure that it is indeed backup. I have video of it happening intermittently, but have to dig through and find a session.
