Loss of blend

This is a recurring issue
Changing the blending options causes blended objects to disappear completely (this is not a refresh problem). The only solution is to close the file and lose the latest editing if the file had not been saved. I have this problem very often and it's becoming a bit frustrating.

@Pat I will open a bug on this, and will try to replicate it.
One thing that might help, send me a file that was saved just before the loss of blend (correct version) and then an other version saved just after the loss. -

it's when I go back in history (History panel) and select a former state, the blend disappears. -
