Node Tool Not Deselecting Objects Immediately when clicking on Artboard

I've noticed at least with build 33, on the Apple Mac Silicon VS program computers, it is very difficult to deselect a selected object(s) and requires numerous clicks on the artboard before it will deselect. Here is a video of me attempting to deselect a previously selected object. I tested this with three Mac computers and noticed it was only not an issue with the Intel chip version.

I tried with a mouse, a stylus, trackpad and another mouse on the other computer - all with the same result. I also tried recharging and reconnecting my mouse, used more than one stylus, restarted the computer, etc. After two or three clicks (or sometimes more) on the artboard, it will suddenly deselect.

I also tested this on a windows 10 laptop and it was not as bad as the Mac Silicon version of VS, but still not perfect. Anyone else willing to test this on their machine?

Yes, I tried it and It needs 2 mouse clicks at least, sometimes more.
