I tried the standard Command D for a duplicate in an attempt to discover functionality for better ways to copy an object. Even though it worked in my various attempts, the first round had the text object several times larger (either in the Font size or the Height/Width values in the text box its self, I'm not sure) However, after undoing it and trying again, the duplicate came out the same size the second round.

@buckycore Duplicate will apply recent movement, scaling or rotation on the object being duplicated.

For example: if you scale an object and they hid Command+D the duplicate will be scaled further.

Changing the selection (deselect, or select something else) will create the transforms used in duplication.

@vectoradmin AH, ok. So it's similar to how Affinity Designer does duplicate. Got it! Thank you for that feature
