Can't expand text on path

It seems that text on path can't be expanded.
If I convert it to curves, it turns into regular text.
Is there a solution?

Expanded, not exported.
Expanded in a way that text is a shape with nodes -

I can convert it to curves here.
EDIT: with both the curve and the text selected.
Otherwise it will just release it.
