Unable to copy / paste formatted text between documents

macOS: Ventura 13.7.8
Hardware acceleration: On Metal
US - English
VectorStyler 1.2.084

Problem: Unable to copy and paste text from one document to another and preserve formatting (paragraph style).

Create two (2) documents. Add a paragraph style to one of the documents. When you copy and paste text formatted with that paragraph style to the other document it is lost. The pasted text is formatted using the default paragraph style.

Problem is with all documents - previously and newly created.

@MWK I opened a bug on this and will try fix it as soon as possible

@MWK I tried to replicate this but it seems to be working fine here.

What I tried:
a) copy a formatted text frame with various paragraph/text styles as an object onto an other document. this seems to be working
b) edit / select the text (again with multiple formatting styles) and copy that into an other document

In both cases all the formatting was retained.

If you have an example where copy/paste did not retain text formatting, please send it to me. Thanks!

Sorry for the delay.

For me your a) test always works but the b) does not.

The attached file has three (3) documents that shows the problem.

Document 1 - Has the formatted text that will be copied.
Document 2 - Had an empty text frame prior to pasting the text.
Document 3 - An empty document prior to pasting the text frame.
