Text on path is totally deformed in operation and cmd-z is no help

What I find frustrating is, that I very often am unable to revert operations that have messed up totally. In this case I copied/pasted the ellipse in layer "rund-tekst" and added a stroke-value and color. I might have done some conflicting stuff, but succeedingly restore using cmd-z was useless. The text was distorted beyond unrecognizability
Perhaps this is trivial but please check cmd-z universally. As said, I feel this is a VS trend, that reverting operations very often fails badly.

@Raaskot I opened a bug on this and will try to replicate.

@Raaskot The horizontal scaling of the characters was set to 4% (can be found in Character panel, expanded with the title knob).
I will try to find out more about the undo/redo issues.
