Convert Text to curves

Is possible that converting Text to curves is not currently working? I select the text frame, then object>convert to curves, but still i can edit it as text.

Using the "Text" Menu instead of using "Convert to curves" will do it.

Select your Frame Text then go to
Menu > Text > Convert Frame Text to Path

@marce Only text shapes can be converted to curves. the content of text frame must be converted to shape (or path) first, as shown by @Subpath
