[Win 10[[1.0.045] Stroke width set to pt, reported in mm

I have set my stroke widths to be used in pt, and from the picker that all looks good.
Unexpected:

• On using the brackets to change the width, the dimensions in the overlay on screen are reported in mm.
• In the Appearance panel the stroke is displayed in mm.
