When the handles are set to zero for the stroke width tool ( so thinnest width possible ) , it impossible to get them back to a usable state

@gentlecl You need to click-and-drag very close to the round handle but not on the handle itself, then dragging to change the width will work.

You can also press the X key and edit the stroke width in the Stroke Profile window.

@vectoradmin In order to avoid confusion for special situations like this, maybe the cursor should change to something different when hovering the "sliding" control point over the spine of the brush stroke?

A four-directional arrow, or the same arrow cursor with a small four-directional arrow under it?

@gentlecl @b77 There have been improvements in this issue in build 1.0.048. The width can be set to zero, but if hovering slightly away from the stroke spine (center line) then the cursor should indicate that width can be dragged.

To preview the adjusted width, enable the "Show Editor Popups" in Preferences -> Editing Options.

@vectoradmin In my tests here the cursor changes to a different one (arrow with dot) only after you begin to drag the control handle.

It would be better to change before dragging, so you know what to expect.
