I can't seem to find the equivalent of the "Outline Stroke" command as in Illustrator.
      Please help.

@William-Kansepa If that is the Illustrator -> Effect -> Path -> Outline Stroke, then in VS it is the Outline Path shape effect.
Open the Shape Effects panel, click on the (+) button and it can be added by selecting Outline -> Outline Path. Edit the options by opening the added effect in the panel.

@vectoradmin Thank you, I see. Does this mean that this is only available as an effect? If that is the case, another question arises: how do I expand my effects?

@William-Kansepa Yes, this is only available as a nondestructive shape effect.
To expand shape effects use Object -> Convert to Curves

@William-Kansepa For what you asked in the original question, use 'Expand Stroke' from the Styles menu.

Thank you so much @b77. This is exactly what I was looking for. Thanks to Numeric Path for coming out with an unorthodox program. It definitely keeps us on our toes. After tons of years on an Adobe diet, I am having to unlearn a LOT of things.
