As it says in the description, I sometimes have an issue where I will select the object and the silders in the color window will be in a specific mode, but when I start editing the color on the color wheel, the sliders jump to another mode.

In my understanding the sliders should correspond to the color mode of the document by default, or stick to a specific mode the user has specified, like HSL, all the time. I have not really found a repeatable case when this happens. I made a small screenrecording, but I can not upload it here for lack of priviledges.

Can you send me a link to the recording, or just send it by email ?

I tried to replicate this issue but could not.

Have you tried the "Keep Color Mode" option in the color panel menu?
Also: does this problem occur in CMYK documents, or RGB?

I will send you the screenrecording by email. I noticed this behaviour in a CMYK document, but I will check if the same thing happens in RGB.

I did not have "keep color mode" activated (I thought I had acvtivated this, but perhaps this setting was lost in a crash?). I will see if setting this on will cure this behaviour.
