      Hi,

      It would be nice if we had a mouse modifier with transform tool (like alt, or shift or anything else not taken) which could allows to compress or expand selected object positions, bringing them closer / further each others without actually scaling them.

      This can be found in 3D software like blender. See scaling VS non scaling in Blender below.

      I also requested this for Affinity Designer but I have little hope this will make it. It would definitely be very helpful in my workflow so for sure any software which would have that will be a nice argument 😛

      Thx for your support!

        @X-Raym Welcome to VectorStyler!

        This can be done by pressing the Spacebar after the scaling started (after mouse button is pressed and you begin to drag).

          @b77 Oh, wow, what a nice surprise that this is already built-in !

          Space key is a bit unsual, I didn't think about testing this, but at least, it exists!

          Welcome to VectorStyler!

          Still exploring to see if it has to tool I already use in Affinity, and if it has the one I needed... this is a point win for VectorStyler!
