Extra lines appear, extending out when grouping multiple live text
I believe they were there in the previous couple builds as well

@Boldline Replicated, will be fixed ASAP. Looks like when grouped the baseline preview has a bug.
Should the baseline be disabled when inside a group?

Good question... my first thought was no - because it signifies they are all live text and the selection bounding box and base lines can be specifically hidden.
On the other hand you've done a good job with minimizing selection indicators to just the bare minimum and I can see the value of that here, especially in a group
