Feature request - clear input field

This is a small request for the Windows port:

Clear input field ie. for decimals, layer name etc.

• Place the cursor at the end of the content in the input field (nothing is selected=
• CTRL + Backspace deletes whatever to the left of the cursor

A Windows standard.

Initially the whole field content is selected but if you unselect you have to hold and draw with the mouse, double clicking a world places the cursor at the end of the line? Thats weird too.
