Pasted vector in VS and resized, reverts back when copied and pasted
-
This might have been mentioned a long while back already. I vectored an jpeg in Vector Magic (mistletoe) and pasted it into VS. It imported at a large size. I shrunk it down to the size I wanted it and placed it on one side of the design. I selected it again and copied and pasted it to then be able to flip it for the other side of the design. When I did this copy and paste, the new pasted copy of the mistletoe reverted to its original pasted size. I could not move it or adjust it at that point with the cursor. When I tried to nudge it down with an arrow key, the large version disappeared and a small version remained in it's place. That smaller version was accessible with the cursor as expected.
here is the file

@Boldline A Command+R (refresh) fixes the issue. I add this to the backlog.

I had a different but maybe related issue : inside VS, copy and paste an object sometimes (but not every time) generates a slightly different sized object (!) while duplicate or clone works perfectly. I checked the transform panel after I noticed the objects couldn't be perfectly aligned. The copy is also not paste in place in that case.
The cmd+R solved it (both size and in place).

@Devil-Dinosaur The earlier issue has been solved.
If there is an example that can still replicate this copy/paste sizing issue, please send it to me by email.

@Devil-Dinosaur This problem should be fixed in build 1.1.024
