Offset Profile Width Display Not Keeping up with Selection

Using the offset path - I noticed that if I changed the profile away from the standard full block option at the top of the drop-down menu to any of the tapered options, if I switched back later - the image showing the current selection would lag or not change at all. That threw me off at one point when I was making this offset path because I had changed it temporarily to see the result and then I put it back and then when it was the regular full offset (no taper), it was still showing the result on my vector letter forms of a tapered look
