Specific Tear-Off Tool groups close upon interaction

I like the Tear-Off tools from the tool palette. However I noticed some do not behave like the others that stay on-screen. For example, the Pointer group of tools, Eyedropper tools, and Shape creation tools, all disappear after tearing off the tool group and then choosing one of the tools in the group. This doesn't seem like it's intentional.
Note: If I group the tools into a new tear off group, they stay onscreen.

Cannot replicate this. What is the build number?

@vectoradmin how strange. Today I could not replicate this either, yet v184 was doing this yesterday. Will look at this more closely. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
UPDATE: This is working correctly. I did download 184, but did not click the update (Ugh). So the issue was with v181, not 184. Sorry.
